Frequently asked questions.
What can a lactation consultant help with?
Latch issues
Infant weight concerns
Nipple pain or damage
Milk supply concerns (too much or not enough)
Pumping and flange fitting
Bottle feeding
Oral restriction evaluation (tongue and lip ties)
Mastitis concerns
Listening and support - and so much more!
I’m exclusively pumping, should I see a lactation consultant?
I can absolutely help with exclusive pumping! We can do flange fittings (using various sizes and shapes to find the best flange for comfort and milk output) and go over your own pump and the settings that will work for you.
Do you have an office?
I currently only do home visits. I hope to have an office space in the future!
Do you take my insurance?
I am in network with the following*
I have partnered with The Lactation Network, which allows me to accept a range of insurance plans. If you have VA OptumEast, UnitedHealthcare PPO and HMO, UMR, Oxford, or a plan that includes a MultiPlan, PNOA, Imagine Health, Velocity, Aetna, Meritan or First Health logo on your insurance card, please click the link below to check for insurance coverage through The Lactation Network.
I am unable to contract with Medicaid or State plans at this time.
*network status may change from time to time, always verify before appointment.
Can I book if I don’t have insurance, or you are out of network?
Yes! My self-pay pricing is Here, and I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance. You may be able to be reimbursed even if I am out of network.
